World Television Premiere of Mookavismitha

Gurudatt Sreekanth’s debut directorial Mookavismitha is based on famous playwright TP Kailasam’s stage play Tollu Gatti. It was staged in the 1950s. The film that travels between 1950 and 2019 has Sandeep Malani heading the cast playing Hiriyanna, an egoistic and strict Havyak Brahmin. The cast includes Pushpa Raghavendra, Chandra Keerthi, Mavalli Karthik, Shubha Gowda, Vanishree Bhatt, Krupa Prahlad playing important characters in this family drama that comes out with a strong message.
Sandeep Malani has won two Best Actor awards for his performance; one at Mumbai International Film Festival and another in Bangalore in the memory of veteran actress Kalpana.
Edited by Santosh Chawla and music by Chinmaya Rao, the film will have its world television premiere on Sunday 27th September at 7 pm on Colors Kannada Cinema channel. And soon it will be also streaming on the OTT platform Voot and Jio Cinema.
