ബംഗളൂർ മലയാളി ഡോ. പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെയുടെ “മാനം നിറയെ വർണ്ണങ്ങൾ ” എന്ന ചെറുകഥാ സമാഹാരത്തിന് നിർമ്മാല്യം കലാ സാഹിത്യവേദിഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ “അക്ബർ കക്കട്ടിൽ ദേശീയ” പുരസ്‌കാരം. പതിമ്മൂന്നു ചെറുകഥകളടങ്ങിയ ഈ ചെറുകഥാ സമാഹാരം ബെംഗളൂരു മലയാളികൾക്കിടയിൽ ചർച്ചാവിഷയമായിരുന്നു. സമകാലിക ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ സവിശേഷമായ പ്രശ്ങ്ങളും ഗതികേടുകളും പരിഹാസ്യതകളുമാണ് പ്രധാനമായും ഈ കഥകളിൽ ആവിഷ്‌ക്കരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
ഇതിനുമുമ്പും മറ്റു ചില പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങളും ഡോ. പ്രേംരാജിനെ ത്തേടി എത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. കൂടാതെ ഇൻഡ്യാ ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോർഡ്‌സ്, ഏഷ്യാ ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോർഡ്‌സ്, ഹാർവാർഡ് ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോർഡ്‌സ് (ലണ്ടൻ) യൂണിവേഴ്സൽ റെക്കോർഡ് ഫോറം എന്നിവയിലും ഇടം നേടുകയുണ്ടായി. ഈയിടെ പബ്ലിഷ് ചെയ്ത “കായാവും ഏഴിലംപാലയും ” എന്ന നോവൽ ഇതിനകം തന്നെ വായനക്കാരുടെ ചർച്ചാവിഷയമായിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Bangalore Based Malayali Author Dr. Premraj KK Won “Akbar Kakkatil National Award” by Nirmaliyam Kala Sahitya Vedi for short story collection “Manam Niraye Varmanam” . This collection is of thirteen short stories was a wonderful topic among Bengaluru Malayalis. These stories mainly depict the unique problems, tragedies and ridiculousness of contemporary life.
Before this some other awards Dr. Premraj was attacked. Also got a place in India Book of Records, Asia Book of Records and Harvard Book of Records (London) & Universal Recor forum. His recent novel “Kaayavum Ezhilam Palayum” is great hit amon Bangalore Malayali readers.
