Om Prakash Rao is an Indian film director, screenwriter, film producer and film actor who primarily works in Kannada film industry. He has, till date, directed about 25 films in Kannada language. His films are known for the racy screenplays with extensive action sequences backed with subtle romance. He is the son of late actor N. S. Rao who was a comedian in Kannada films.
