പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ യുടെ അക്ഷര ജീവിതം

വർഷം 2015. ആശുപത്രി കിടക്കയിൽ മരണം വാതിൽക്കലിൽ എത്തിനോക്കിയപ്പോൾ പിന്നീട് വരാൻ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് തിരിച്ചയച്ചപ്പോൾ, തന്റെ ഇനിയുള്ള ജീവിതം അക്ഷരങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെ കഴിഞ്ഞോളാമെന്ന് മരണദേവന് വാക്ക് കൊടുത്തതുപോലെ ഒരു രണ്ടാം ജീവിതം. അതിശയം തോന്നേണ്ട, കഥാകാരൻ പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെയെ കുറിച്ച് തന്നെയാണ് ഈ പറഞ്ഞത്. ജീവിതം തിരിച്ചുകിട്ടിയാൽ ശിഷ്ടജീവിതം എന്തുചെയ്യും എന്ന ചോദ്യം പ്രതിധ്വനിപോലെ ചുറ്റുനിന്നും മുഴങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ നിയോഗം പോലെയാണ് “എഴുത്ത്” എന്ന മൂന്നക്ഷരം മനസ്സിൽ ഉദിച്ചതെന്ന് പ്രേംരാജ് പറയുന്നു. ഇരുപതോളം ദിവസം ഐ സി യു, തുടർന്ന് ഏതാനും ദിവസം വാർഡിൽ അതും കഴിഞ്ഞ് വാടകവീട്ടിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ചില തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ പ്രേംരാജിന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. മുമ്പ് കുറിച്ചുവെച്ച കഥകൾ പുസ്തകരൂപത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു അതിൽ മുൻപന്തിയിൽ. ഒരു ചെറിയ കഥകളുടെ കൂമ്പാരത്തിൽ നിന്നും പെറുക്കിയെടുത്ത ഏതാനും കഥകൾ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു ആദ്യ സമാഹാരമായ “ചില നിറങ്ങൾ” വായനക്കാർ വായിച്ചത്.

ആശുപത്രിവാസം തുടർക്കഥയായി. പിത്താശയത്തിലും വൃക്കയിലും “സ്റ്റണ്ട്” നിക്ഷേപിക്കുകയും ഏതാനും മാസങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം പുറത്തെടുക്കുകയും തുടർന്ന് പുതിയത് വെക്കുക എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള പുതിയ പരീക്ഷണങ്ങൾ കഥാകാരന്റെ ശരീരത്തിൽ തുടർന്നും പ്രയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ബോധംകെടുത്താതെ എൻഡോസ്കോപ്പി വഴി പിത്താശയത്തിൽ, പുറത്തുനിന്നുള്ള ഒരു ചെറു പൈപ്പ് വെക്കുക എന്നത് അല്പം കഷ്ടതയുള്ളതാണ്. എന്നിരുന്നാലും പ്രേംരാജ് തന്റെ ജീവൻ രക്ഷിച്ച ഡോക്ടറർമാരുടെ കൈകളിലേക്ക് സ്വന്തം ശരീരം വിശ്വാസപൂർവ്വം വെച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. ശാരീരിക ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ തുടർക്കഥയപ്പോഴും എഴുത്ത് നിർത്തിയില്ല. 9-6 ഓഫീസ് ജോലി എന്നത് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായപ്പോൾ , ആ ചിന്തയെ മാറ്റിനിർത്തി മുഴുവൻ സമയവും എഴുത്ത്, എഡിറ്റിംഗ് , ഗ്രാഫിക്‌സ് എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള മേഖലകളിൽ മനസ്സിനെ തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു. അങ്ങനെയാണ് ഈ കലാകാരൻ ഉണ്ടായതെന്നു പറയാം. അങ്ങനെയാണ് ഉള്ളിലെ കലയെ ഇദ്ദേഹം പുറത്തെടുത്തത് എന്നും പറയാം. ആശുപത്രി വാസം ഈ കലാകാരനെ കലയുടെ ലോകത്തേക്ക് എത്തിച്ചു എന്ന് പറയുന്നതാവും ശരി.

ആയിടയ്ക്കാണ് രണ്ടാമത്തെ സമാഹാരമായ “മാനം നിറയെ വർണ്ണങ്ങൾ ” പുറത്തിറങ്ങുന്നത്. പ്രസാധകർ എഴുത്തുകാരെ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ചൂഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്ന ചിന്ത പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെയെ പ്രസ്തുതപുസ്തകം സ്വയം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുവാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഭംഗിയായി പ്രൂഫ് നോക്കാതെയും മറ്റൊരാളെകൊണ്ട് ഒരാവർത്തി വായിപ്പിച്ചുനോക്കാതെയും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചതിനാൽ ഈ കൃതിയിൽ പാളിച്ചകൾ കടന്നുകൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നത് വാസ്തവമാണെങ്കിലും ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ട കൃതിയാണിത്. ഏതാനും പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങൾ നേടിയിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.

ആയിടെയാണ് ഒരു ഗ്രാമവും അവിടെത്തെ അന്തരീക്ഷവും മനസ്സിൽ കടന്നുകൂടിയത്. ഒരു പക്ഷെ ചില ആയുർവേദ ചികിത്സാർത്ഥം നടത്തിയ യാത്രകൾ കഥാകാരന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ ഏതോ ഒരു ഗ്രാമം കടന്നുകൂടുകയുണ്ടായി. അതിൽ പിറന്നതാണ് “കായാവും ഏഴിലം പാലയും” എന്ന നോവൽ . പൊതിയൂർ എന്ന ഗ്രാമവും അവിടുത്തെ ജനങ്ങളും വായനക്കരുടെ മനസ്സിൽ ഒരു സിനിമാക്കഥപോലെ പതിഞ്ഞു. എന്നാൽ ആ കൃതിക്ക് അർഹിക്കുന്ന പ്രചാരണമോ വായനക്കാരെയോ ലഭിച്ചില്ല എന്നത് സങ്കടകരമായ വസ്തുതയാണ്. ഏവരും വായിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന ഒരു കൃതിയാണിത്. വയനാടിന്റെ കുന്നിൻ ചെരുവിൽ ഒരു ആയുർവേദ വൈദ്യരെ കണ്ടതും, രോഗാവസ്ഥ കേൾക്കാതെ കുറെ ആയുർവേദ മരുന്നുകൂട്ടുകൾ നൽകുകയും, തുടർന്ന് സ്വന്തം ശരീരഭാരം നാല്പത്തഞ്ചായി കുറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ആ മരുന്ന് സേവ നിർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തതായി പറഞ്ഞത് ഞാൻ ഓർക്കുന്നു.

ഈ കാലയളവിലും ചെറുകഥകൾ രചിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്ന, അവയിൽ ചിലത് ഓൺലൈനിൽ മാഗസിനുകളിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയും ഉണ്ടായി. എന്തുകൊണ്ടോ അച്ചടി മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസം നഷ്ട്ടപ്പെട്ട ഈ കഥാകാരൻ തന്റെ സൃഷ്ടികളൊന്നും വാരികൾക്കോ മാസികകൾക്കോ അയക്കാറില്ല. അത്തരം മാധ്യമങ്ങൾ ഒരു “കോക്കസ്” ആണെന്ന് പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ എവിടെയോ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.

ആയിടെയാണ് പിത്താശയത്തിൽ നിക്ഷേപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്ന “സ്റ്റണ്ട്’ എടുത്തുമാറ്റിയത്. വായയിലൂടെ എൻഡോസ്കോപ്പി കടത്തി പിത്താശയനാളിയിലുള്ള ചെറുപൈപ്പ് പുറത്തെടുക്കുക എന്നത് വളരെ ലളിതമായ “പ്രൊസീജ്യർ” ആണെന്നാണ് കഥാകാരൻ പറയുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ ഡോക്ടർമാരുടെ ഭാഷ്യം അങ്ങനെയല്ല, മറ്റുരോഗികൾ അലറിവിളിക്കുന്ന ഈ പരിപാടിയിൽ പ്രസ്തുത “രോഗി” പൂച്ചയുടെ ശബ്ദംപോലും ഉണ്ടാക്കാറില്ല എന്നതാണ്. . അത് സഹനശക്തികൊണ്ടാണോ സ്വന്തം ജീവൻ ഡോക്ടർമാരുടെ കൈകളിൽ ഏൽപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടാണോ എന്നറിയില്ല. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അലറിവിളിച്ചതു കൊണ്ട് കാര്യമില്ല എന്ന സത്യം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടാകാം.

തുടർന്ന് “ട്യൂലിപ്പ് പുഷ്പങ്ങളുടെ പാടം”, “കിളികൾ പറന്നുപോകുന്നയിടം” എന്നീ സമാഹാരങ്ങൾ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു. ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചതുമായ ഈ കൃതികൾ കഥകളുടെ പ്രത്യേകതകൾ കൊണ്ടുതന്നെയാണ് ഏറെ അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. ഇപ്പോഴാണ് പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ യെ ഒരു “കഥാകാരൻ ” അല്ലെങ്കിൽ “എഴുത്തുകാരൻ” എന്ന രീതിയിൽ അറിയപ്പെട്ടുതുടങ്ങിയത്. അപ്പോഴും ആരോഗ്യപരമായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ പിന്തുടർന്നുവെങ്കിലും ധാരാളം പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ സൗജന്യമായി വായനക്കാർക്ക് വിതരണം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

“ഷെഹ്നായി മുഴങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ” എന്ന നോവൽ ആദ്യം മലയാളത്തിലും പിന്നീട് ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും പ്രേംരാജ് തന്നെയാണ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത്. ഏതാനും മാസങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം അതിന്റെ കന്നഡ പതിപ്പും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു. മുംബയിലെ പാഴ്സികളുടെ കഥപറയുന്ന ഈ നോവൽ ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടത് എന്നതിൽ കവിഞ്ഞ് വായിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന നോവൽ എന്ന ഗണത്തിൽ പെടുത്താവുന്നതാണ്. കഥപറയുന്ന രീതിയും അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റുപാടും തന്നെയാണ് ഈ നോവലിനെ തേടി ഏതാനും പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങൾ എത്തിയത്.

അപ്പോഴാണ് വളരെ അപകടകരമായ അവസ്ഥയിൽ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ് ആയത്. ഹൃദയത്തിനു ചുറ്റും കൂടാതെ ശ്വാസകോശത്തിലും അണുബാധയാണ് കാരണം. നെഞ്ചിലും ശ്വാസകോശത്തിലും പൈപ്പുകൾ കുത്തിക്കയറ്റിയ (ഒരു ലിറ്ററോളം ഫ്‌ല്യൂയിഡ് നീക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു ) അവസ്ഥയിൽ ഏതാനും ദിവസങ്ങൾ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കിടന്നപ്പോൾ ഉണ്ടായ ആലോചനയിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് “ഓർമ്മയിലൊരു വസന്തം” എന്ന നോവൽ ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞത് എന്നുവേണം പറയാൻ. പഴയകാല കോളേജ് ജീവിതമാണ് ഇതിലെ പ്രതിപാദ്യ വിഷയം. ഇതോടൊപ്പം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചൊരു കഥാ സമാഹാരമാണ് “മഴമേഘങ്ങളുടെ വീട്”. ഏറെ മികച്ചൊരു സമാഹാരമാണ് ഇത്. അംഗീകാരങ്ങളുടെ പുറകെ പോകാത്തത് കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കും ഈ കൃതിയെ തേടി പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങൾ വരാതിരുന്നത്.

പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ യുടെ കഥകളിൽ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്ന കഥകളാണ് “സുലോഷോവ ഡയറി ” എന്ന സമാഹാരത്തിൽ . ഇത് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത് കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ പ്രസാധകരാണ് . ഈ കൃതിക്ക് വേണ്ടുന്ന പ്രചാരണം പ്രസാധകർ നടത്തിയില്ല എന്നത് ഒരു വാസ്തവമാണ്. കൂടാതെ എഴുത്തുകാരിൽ നിന്നും നല്ലൊരു ശതമാനം പണം വാങ്ങി അവർക്ക് കോപ്പികൾ വിൽക്കുന്ന വ്യവസ്ഥയിൽ ആയിരുന്നു പുസ്തകം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത്. ഈ പുസ്തകം പ്രസാധകരിൽ നിന്നും കോപ്പികൾ വിറ്റുപോയിട്ടില്ല എന്നാണ് അറിവ്.

ആ സമയത്ത് തന്നെയാണ് 30 കഥകകൾ അടങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ചെറുകഥാസമാഹാരം “ദി ലൈറ്റ് ഓഫ് എ ലാന്റേൺ ” പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയത്. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് കഥകൾ ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്ന വായനക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ട സമാഹാരമാണിത് . ഇത് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത് കൊൽക്കത്തയിലെ “യൂക്കിയോട്ടോ” എന്ന പ്രസാധകരാണ്. മുമ്പ് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ പ്രസാധകരുടെ അവഗണനമൂലം പിൻതള്ളപ്പെട്ട മറ്റൊരു കൃതി എന്നിതിനെ പറയാം. 2025 ലെ കൊൽക്കത്ത സാഹിത്യ വേദിയിൽ “ഫിക്ഷൻ ” വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പുരസ്‌കാരം നേടിയ കൃതിയാണിത്.

ആയിടെയാണ് വൃക്കയിൽ അണുബാധയുണ്ടാകുന്നതും ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തുന്നതും. അതിതീവ്ര വിഭാഗത്തിൽ നാലോളം ദിവസങ്ങൾ കിടന്നപ്പോൾ മനസ്സിൽ ഉടലെടുത്ത കഥയാണ് “ഉൽക്ക” എന്നപേരിൽ നോവലായി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതൊരു ബാല നോവൽ ആണെകിലും മുതിർന്നവരും ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടപെട്ട കൃതി തന്നെയാണ് “ഉൽക്ക” കുട്ടികളിലെ ജിജ്ഞാസയും അന്വേഷണ മനോഭാവവും വളർത്തിയെടുക്കാൻ മുതൽക്കൂട്ടാവുന്ന ഒരു മനോഹരമായ നോവൽ തന്നെയാണ് “ഉൽക്ക”

ഭാരതീയ വിശ്വാസങ്ങളിലും സംസ്കാരത്തിലും ഏറെ താല്പര്യമുള്ള പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ വിശ്വാസങ്ങൾ പഠിക്കുവാൻ ഏറെ താല്പര്യം കാണിക്കാറുണ്ട്. അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ചിന്തകളിൽ നിന്നും ഉണ്ടായതാണ് “മന്ത്രിക്കുന്ന യന്ത്രങ്ങൾ” എന്ന നോവൽ. തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തമായതും വായനക്കാർ ഇന്നുവരെ വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതുമായ ഒരു കൃതിയാണ് ഇത്. മെക്സിക്കോയുടെയും ഹരിദ്വാറിന്റെയും മണ്ണിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ച് കൊച്ചിയുടെ മടിത്തട്ടിൽ ചെന്നവസാനിക്കുന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് ഈ നോവൽ. അതോടൊപ്പം വിശ്വാസങ്ങളും മന്ത്ര – തന്ത്ര വിദ്യകളും ഇതിലെ സവിശേഷത തന്നെയാണ്.

അസുഖങ്ങളുടെ ഘോഷയാത്ര തുടങ്ങുന്നതിനു മുമ്പവരെ സ്വകാര്യ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ മികച്ച സേവനം കാഴ്ചവെച്ച പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ ജനറൽ മാനേജർ , വൈസ് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് എന്നീ തസ്തികകളിൽ എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നിരുന്നാലും സ്വന്തമായൊരു വീട് എന്നത് ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഒരു സ്വപ്നമായിരുന്നില്ല എന്ന് വേണം കരുതാൻ. വാടകയ്‌ക്കെടുത്ത ശരീരമുള്ള നമ്മൾ ആ ശരീരത്തിന് വാടകയ്ക്ക് തന്നെയാണ് ഒരു വീട് വേണ്ടത് എന്നൊരിക്കൽ ഇദ്ദേഹം പറയുകയുണ്ടായി.

പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ ഇതിനോടകം നൂറിൽപ്പരം കഥകൾ എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന പരമാർത്ഥം വളരെ ചുരുക്കം വായനക്കാർക്ക് മാത്രമേ അറിയൂ. കഥകൾ പറയാൻ വെമ്പുന്ന ഒരു മനസ്സ് ഈ കഥാകാരനിൽ എന്നും കാണാം. പറയാൻ കുറെയധികം കഥകളുണ്ട്, എന്നാൽ അവയൊക്കെ എഴുതിത്തീരുവാൻ കഴിയുമോ എന്നറിയില്ല , എന്നതാണ് ഈ കഥാകാരന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കടമെടുത്താൽ ഇവിടെ കുറിച്ചിടേണ്ടത്. ഇനിയും കുറെയധികം കഥകൾ പ്രേംരാജ് കെ കെ യുടെ വിരലുകളിലൂടെ വായനക്കാരുടെ കൈകളിലേക്കെത്തട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം ആയുരാരോഗ്യ സൗഖ്യവും നേരുന്നു.

The Second Birth in the World of Literature.

The life of  Author Premraj KK –  a biographical sketch.

2015. When he looked at the door of death in the hospital bed, he was told to come back later, as if he had promised the god of death that he would spend the rest of his life with letters. Not surprisingly, this is what the writer Premraj KK said. Premraj says that when the question of what a decent life would do if life was restored resounded like an echo, the few letters “writing” arose in his mind like a mission. Twenty days in the ICU, then a few days in the ward and then going to the rented house, some decisions were in Premraj’s mind. The priority was to publish the previously scribbled stories in book form. Readers of the first collection “Some Colors” were just a few stories plucked from a pile of short stories.

Hospitalization continued. New experiments continued to be applied to the narrator’s body, such as depositing the “stunt” in the gallbladder and kidney, taking it out after a few months, and then placing a new one. It is a little difficult to insert a small pipe from outside in the gall bladder through endoscopy without consciousness. However, Premraj faithfully placed his body in the hands of the doctors who saved his life. The physical pain didn’t stop him writing. When 9-6 office work became difficult, he put that thought aside and turned his mind to areas like writing, editing and graphics full time. That’s how the artist came to be. That’s how he brought out the art. It is true that the stay in the hospital brought this artist to the world of art, especially in the field of writing. .

At the same time, the second volume of the book,”Maanam Niraye Varnangal” (The sky full of colors) was released. The idea that publishers were exploiting writers by misleading them prompted Premraj KK to self-publish the book. Although it is true that there are flaws in this work as it was published without looking at the proof beautifully and without reading it once with someone else, it is a very noticeable work. He has also received several awards.

A village and its atmosphere came to mind. Perhaps some ayurvedic journey had entered in the mind of the storyteller in some village. The novel ‘Kaayavum Ezhilum Palayum “was born out of it. The village of Pothiyoor and its people were etched in the minds of the readers like a movie story. But it is a sad fact that the work did not get the publicity or readership it deserved. This is a book that everyone should read. I remember seeing an ayurvedic doctor in the hills of Wayanad, giving him some ayurvedic medicines without listening to his condition, and then stopping the service when his weight was forty-five kilograms.

During this period, he also wrote short stories, some of which were published online in magazines. This storyteller, who has lost faith in the print media, does not send any of his work to weeklies or magazines. Premraj KK has somewhere said that such media is a “caucus.”

Recently, the ‘stunt’ that was deposited in the gall bladder was removed. The narrator says that it is a very simple “procedure” to take out the small pipe in the gallbladder by passing the endoscopy through the mouth. But the doctors’ interpretation is not that, in this program where other patients shout, the “patient” does not even make a cat’s voice. Or maybe it’s because you realize that it doesn’t matter.

Then the collections (Tulip Pushpangalude paadam)  “The field of tulip flowers” and “Kilikal Parannu pokunnayidam” (Where the sparrows fly) were published. These highly acclaimed and award-winning works have been recognized for the uniqueness of the stories themselves. It was then that Premraj began to refer  as a “storyteller” or “writer.” Even then, health problems followed, but many books continued to be distributed to readers for free.

The novel (Shehnai Muzhangumpul) was first published in Malayalam and later in English.(When Shehnai Sounds)  A few months later, its Kannada (Shenayi Molaguvaga) version was also published. This novel, which tells the story of the Parsis of Mumbai, can be counted among the most read novels. The novel won several awards for its story and setting.

He was then taken to a hospital in critical condition. It is caused by an infection in the heart and lungs. The novel (Ormmakaliloru vasantham) (A Spring in Memory) was inspired by a few days in the hospital, when pipes were pierced in the chest and lungs (about a litter of fluid was removed). ‘Suloshova Diary ‘is one of the best stories of Premraj KK. It is published by leading publishers in Kerala. It is a fact that the publishers did not campaign for this work. Also, the book was published on the condition that a good percentage of the money from the authors would be sold to them. No copies of this book have been sold by the publisher (Not sure about it).

Around the same time, a collection of 30 short stories in English, The Light of a Lantern, was published. This is a great book for readers who love English stories. It was published by the publishers “Yukiyoto” of Kolkata. As mentioned earlier, this is another work that was left behind due to the negligence of the publishers. It won the award in the “Fiction” category at the Kolkata Literary Forum 2025.

He had a kidney infection and was rushed to the hospital. The novel titled ‘Ulka’ was published as a story that came to mind while sleeping in the extreme category for four days. Although this is a children’s novel, it is also a favorite work of adults. ‘Ulka’ is a beautiful novel that can be used to develop curiosity and inquisitive spirit in children.

Premraj KK is very interested in Indian beliefs and culture and is interested in studying the beliefs of different countries. The novel “Witching Machines” was born from such thoughts. This is a completely different book that I haven’t read yet. The novel is set in the land of Mexico and Haridwar and ends in the lap of Kochi. Along with this, beliefs and mantra-tantra techniques are also unique in this.

Premraj KK, who served in private companies till the beginning of his illness, has reached the post of General Manager and Vice President. However, owning a home wasn’t his dream. He once said that we who have a rented body need a house on rent.

Very few readers know the truth that Premraj KK has written more than a hundred stories so far. There is always a passion in this writer to tell stories. There are so many stories to tell, but I don’t know if they can be written. I wish that many more stories reach the hands of the readers through the fingers of Premraj KK and wish him good health.
