Varshini Bharadwaj is a young prolific actor and dancer who has carved out a niche for her matured performance in several stage plays prominently in Kannada. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer studied under Guru Sumana Nagesh.
Varshini hails from Namma Bengaluru and has become a household name since her outstanding performance in the play called “Nanna Kathe” (My story) a one women act directed by SriGuruprasad. “Nanna Kathe” is a one among few plays which has received standing ovation from the audience in every show.
She was introduced to stage acting by Srinidhi an accomplished theatre personality for the play “Navu Nataka Madthilla” which also secured first position in Rangasri – State level competition (Karnataka). This set her journey into acting which was followed by many successful performances. “Devare Kapadabeku” become her second outing. Mumbai and Mangalore audience couldn’t stop raving about her performance in “Nangyako Doubtu”.
A lead role in Rani Adil Shah ensured another milestone opportunity to showcase her talent. Mouna Mathadaga, Hoysaleshwara Vishuvardhana and Agarbha accounted an overall 25 stage performances of Varshini
Being a founder member of theatre group Abhivyaktha. Panganama become Varshini’s first directorial.
Panganama , Bhutha Bavishya and Nanna Kathe were presented under this banner gathering many houseful shows. Abhivyaktha conducted an open event “Santvara” and raised over one lakh rupees to contribute toward Kodugu Relief fund in 2018.
Varshini has acted in several short movies debuting with Swarasangama which was very well received. Her appearance in two other short movies “Whats up Mom”& Lovely Vibes was directed by Sathyajith and Ashwini under the banner of TN Seetharam’s Bhoomika Productions. Her screen presence was also seen in “Magalu Janaki”.
Having affiliations with many theater groups such as Rangaste, Ashwagosha, Kalasmriti, Panchamuki natarasamuha & Anveshane. Varshini has received appreciations and accolades for her performances from many famous personalities. To add another feather to the hat she won first place in Karnataka state level Mono acting competition in 2019.
