ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು : ಸಂಗೀತ, ನೃತ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ನೀವು ಕಲಿಯುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಲಾ ಪ್ರಕಾರಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಬಹುದು. ಕಲೆಗೆ ಅಂತಹ ಒಂದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಪಾಲಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವಷ್ಟೇ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪಠ್ಯೇತರ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಗಾಯಕಿ ಚೈತ್ರ ಹೆಚ್ ಜಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಲ್ಪೈನ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ “ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವರಮೇಳ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಠ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ಇಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಪಠ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಠ್ಯೇತರ ಎರಡೂ ಬಗೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊಸ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿ ಬರೆಯಬಹುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಸಭಿಕರ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯಂತೆ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ “ಬಿಡು ಬಿಡು ಬಿಡು ಬಿಡು ಕದ್ದು ನೋಡೋದನ್ನ” ಹಾಗೂ ಅಮೃತಧಾರೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ಗೀತೆ “ಹುಡುಗ ಹುಡುಗ” ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಚೈತ್ರ ಅವರು ಹಿಂದುಸ್ಥಾನಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಅಲಾಪನೆಯ ತುಣುಕೊಂದನ್ನು ಏಕಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಗೀತಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರಮುಗ್ಧರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿದರು.
ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಆಲ್ಪೈನ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಜಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಅವರು
ಭಾರತದ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಹಾಗೂ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲಾಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವ ವಿನೂತನ ಪ್ರಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಮನರಂಜನೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ. ಚಿನ್ಮಯ ರಾವ್ ಸಾರಥ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಜನಪದ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸಂಗೀತವನ್ನು ಸಮೂಹ ಗಾಯನ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾವಾಭಿನಯವನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ನೃತ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಗಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹಿಮ್ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಆಲ್ಪೈನ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಯುವ ವಾದ್ಯವೃಂದ ಸಂಗೀತಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿತು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕರಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಕಾಳಿಭಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ವಾತಿ ಮಧುಸೂಧನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

Famous Playback Singer Chaitra shared her opinion on the music program – “Symphony of India – A Melody Voyage”
Bengaluru: Music, dance or any art form you learn can change your life and take you to new heights. Art has such a special power. Therefore, the parents of today should give as much importance to extracurricular activities as they do to their children’s education, said famous playback singer Chaitra H G.
While inaugurating a unique and different program called “Symphony of India – A Melody Voyage” held at Alpine Public School, Kanakapura Road, she insisted on learning any classical art form to think freely from their busy schedule.
As requested by the audience, Chaitra mesmerized the music fans by simultaneously presenting a piece of Hindustani classical music and western music along with singing the popular song “Huduga Huduga” from the movie Palakki and the popular song from the movie Amrithadhare.
Jayalakshmi Shastry, the Principal of Alpine Public School, spoke later on an innovative experiment that has been done here to introduce the diverse music and dance heritage of India through the children’s performance. So it is not only limited to entertainment, but it has allowed for study, she said.
Music Director, under the leadership of Dr.Chinmaya Rao, the students presented folk and film music from all the states of India through group singing and emotional dance and received applause from the art lovers.
On this occasion, senior teacher Anita Kalibhat, who acted as a guide for this program, and other teachers showcased their support. Swathi Madhusudhan anchored the programme.
